HEART for Women Act

The American Heart Association is asking everyone to sign a petition asking your lawmaker to support the HEART (Heart disease Education, Analysis and Research, and Treatment) for Women Act which seeks to:

1. Raise awareness among women and their health care providers.
2. Provide gender and race-specific information for clinicians and researchers.
3. Improve screening for low-income women at risk for heart disease and stroke.
