Hearty Habits #9: Reduce Stress
Today’s Hearty Habits from Cory Aldrich of Baldiness are good to remember especially considering my post yesterday regarding divorce and heart disease. Also don’t forget about the probable effect of stress on Enron executive Ken Lay’s untimely death.
I selected the best genetic material available from my parents in order to have a naturally high metabolism and laid back disposition. :D
Seriously…I park at the back of lots. The walk is a little exercise and a way to slow down and reduce stress.
I drive the speed limit (almost all the time). Again, less stress.
Stress is bad. That must mean Cory is good. At least I’m sure his wife agrees. ;)

How right you are Hsien! I do agree, he’s a good man. I think I’ll keep him. :p

This is great, Cory. I’ve also been trying to add exercise into my daily routine to relieve stress. Walking also helps with depression — and the nice side effect is weight loss. Can’t beat that — hehe. :)

Unfortunately, I haven’t lost a pound in more than a decade. :P
