Save Money on Red Wine and Save Your Heart

by Hsien-Hsien Lei, PhD on November 25th, 2006

Red wine, flavonoids, antioxidants, and their effect on heart health is a much debated topic, but for most people a glass a day may not be a bad idea (unless you have other pre-existing conditions or hate the taste, of course). If you’re in the UK and wish to stock up on wine during this holiday season, stores in the Thresher Group are offering 40% off ALL their wine from November 30 until December 10 if you download this coupon (pdf). Cheers!

Thanks to Hugh Macleod at gapingvoid for sharing the wealth.

Red wine isn’t called the Christ blood for nothing. It is called “medicine” in several Europe cultures. Unfortunately the areas where red grapes grow is getting smaller each year because of the decreasing demand for red wines.
