Heart Healthy Recipes
If you’re looking for new recipes, I’m probably the last person you should ask. I’m capable of making anything I’m craving (had no choice when I lived in Japan and Vietnam), but I can’t say I enjoy cooking to any great degree. Nonetheless, no matter who you are, sometimes you need a bit of inspiration in the kitchen. Eating out all the time just gets yucky after a while.
In honor of today’s b5media Science and Health Theme Day on food, here are a list of sites that have heart healthy recipes.
- Delicious Decisions from the American Heart Association
- Stay Young at Heart: Cooking the Heart-Healthy Way from the NIH
- Recipes from the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- Healthy Recipes from Better Homes and Gardens
- Time to start cooking healthy! from Cardiology Associates
If you have a favorite dish, please share it with us in the comments!
NB: Ruth at Eating Fabulous will have a round-up of posts from all the Science and Health blogs but feel free to visit them personally. They’re listed in the sidebar.
