Sickest Baby In Britain Now Fully Recovered from Heart Disease

Three years ago, Dylan Gaunt was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy at the age of two with a heart three times larger than normal. On the operating table, it took 20 minutes to resuscitate him and his parents were told that a heart transplant was in Dylan’s future along with a lifetime of medication and learning difficulties. But last week, just in time for Christmas, Dylan was told that he has made a full recovery and no longer needs his heart drugs let alone a transplant.
His mother Kileen:
The doctor said he couldn’t believe Dylan’s progress himself and said he will use him as a beacon of hope to other parents whose children suffer from the same illness.
It’s a real miracle story.
Here’s wishing Dylan and his family a very hearty life together.

What a story! BTW, he’s been lucky to be born in the UK and not anywhere else…

You’re right, NCurse, but I can’t help thinking about those many less fortunate ones born in Somalia or other third world countries. God indeed works misterious ways.
