What’s in Laura’s Medicine Chest?
Could I be more of a health tyrant than I thought? Laura Bzowy of CFS Squared had this to say when I asked her what was in her medicine chest.
Don’t get mad ok…..please. Actual stuff in my medicine cupboard consists of the following: 3 bandaids with the scooby doo gang on them, toothpaste, 1 bottle of adrenosen pills, and cherry flavoured cough syrup.
I suppose i need to go do some shopping….
The truth is, Laura has a greater fear.
I am scared of becoming a hoarder. Packratism runs in my family, and I don’t want to catch it. I have in case of emergency stuff in my house…its just not in my medicine cabinet.
In a month or two, I will have some antihistamines, but I don’t need them in winter.
Alright, so perhaps some of us are interpreting the “what’s in your medicine chest?” question a bit too strictly. Next time I’ll just ask, “What kinds of health and medicine supplies do you have scattered around your house?” :P

Years ago, I used to have a well stocked medicine cabinet/area in my house. Kinda happens when you would visit doctors as much as I did. Then we discovered that I would start to feel better when meds were removed from my daily life. It happened slowly.
And now, there is really no need for taking anykind of medication. OK I will admit, that I really could have used some sort of sleeping pill (for the last two weeks), but since antibiotics no longer work for me (due to overuse, perhaps, I told you I once had a big medicine cabinet)there is no real reason to take anything.
I probably have a bit of room, to add a bottle or two of some sort of vitamin.
Thanks for sharing my cabinet and fear to the world :)
