What’s in Grace’s Medicine Chest?
Our woman on Flu Patrol, Grace, has just what you need should you be stricken with the cold or flu. I should have bummed some of this stuff from her a few weeks ago when I got sick!
With my whole family being sick this week, and an FSA (federal student aid) refund short of $130, I just hoarded 2 boxes of Nyquil, 2 of Dayquil, 2 mega-bottles of benadryl, 2 infants Tylenol, 2 lil’ nose sprays, 4 bottles antibiotic Rx, and we’re using them up fast…. Oh and a brand new thermometer (8-second reader that’s just inaccurate!). All this on top of 2 cupboards full of first aid and a big duffel emergency bag leftover from Y2K. And did i mention i still have the plastic sheets and duct tape? Talk about a (paranoid) packrat!! LOL
I also have weird stuff from China - “po-chay” or some similar sounding name [editor's note: po chai]. The worst smelling tiny capsules but a cure-all for any stomach problem or so my hubby tells me.
Thanks, Grace! Po Chai pills have helped me in a time of crisis so just hold your nose and down those little bottles of mini pills.

Have you heard of Cold-fX? I’ve been using that in addition to a few other things. It comes in pill form and is pretty good!
