Jesus Died of a Broken Heart
Jesus did not die of suffocation like others who were crucified in Roman times. Dr. David Ball simulated the crucification of Jesus and has concluded that Jesus died of a ruptured heart.
- Jesus couldn’t have shouted at his death if he were suffocated, but could have shouted if he had a ruptured heart.
- Jesus suffered further damage for four to six hours after he fell as he carried the cross.
- A Roman soldier speared Jesus’s heart and John described how blood and water poured out.
To those who celebrate Easter, have a peaceful Good Friday.

Yes, I remember my dad reading about that as well about 20+ yrs ago. This was after I asked the nun teaching my religion class how Jesus died if no major organs were hit by the nails. Cheeky kid, I know.
The Divine intervention, of course, is often cited since crucifixion is an agonizing death usually taking days.

I once had a conversation with a fellow beraved parent who believed her son died of a broken heart at a few months of age.her heart ache for her love that left her, consuming her; thus carried through to her son. I concluded the same of my daughters death.
