Robber Takes Pity on Heart-Attack Victim
On a busy Saturday morning, a masked robber wielding a gun entered the store. Maybe he didn’t really want to be there. Maybe he was just pretending. Maybe he just needed a few bucks to buy his daughter a birthday present. Stepping up the clerk, his heart thumped wildly. Little did he know that hers would too.
“I’m probably going to have a heart attack,” [victim Mary] Parker said.
“Oh my, ma’am, please do not have a heart attack. Please do not have a heart attack. Please don’t, ma’am,” [the robber] said.
The robber got away with $15 and a pack of cigarettes. Mary had a fright but is ok after he allowed her to call emergency services.
