I Got A Wii!!!!
I have a very exciting update to share with you! This is not groundbreaking research but I am so happy I just have to share. I wrote about the Nintendo Wii being used as therapy for recovering stroke and cardiac patients last week, and shared my strong want for one of these fabulous little game players. Well, guess what? My brother in law found one today at normal price and offered it up! So yup I am going to get myself in my caravanarama with cash in hand and travel southwest to his house and pick it up.
Oh boy, I am so excited. I can’t play with it until after the kids pull it out from under the tree on Christmas morning. Who will be more excited- my hubby, the girls or me?? I will fill you in on my Wii fitness progress!

That’s awesome. I’ve been thinking about getting one just to help me get my heart pumping a little bit hehe. If my son was old enough I’m sure we’d have one already. :)

I was thinking of getting one when the prices drop a bit. I read a great article on how they are being used on seniors’ residences to get the residents moving. I figured, hey, if they can do it - so can I!
I just have to figure out a way to justify it to myself. My three teens have Nintendo, Playstation and an X-box (all bought with their own money). I feel really odd about bringing yet another game system into the house.
