Two Days In A Couple Paragraphs- Life Is Sad, Haha! 1/11-1/12/08
Friday was short lived.. a blink of the eye and it was gone. I was home in the morning and off to work in the afternoon and evening, oh boy what fun! Friday nights are just not what they used to be!Bloodsugars… 102, 116 (personal high lately), and 88. Now for todays numbers so far… 108, 95.
Breakfast on Friday was scrambled eggs and a piece of sausage, lunch was a mexican pizza from Taco Bell (barf, now looking back it sound so gross), snack was a handful of nuts and dinner was a nut protein bar and an apple. I drank 2 diet cokes on the day and about 20 water bottles, no exaggeration. Sometimes I worry that I will flush my sodium out and harm myself, but I am always, always thirsty!!
Now when I got home from work on Friday night I was extra hungry and decided to help myself to a piece of left over veggie pizza that my hubby and kids ate for dinner and then… wait for it… I ate a piece of… gasp… cheesecake. Yup I did it and to tell you the truth it wasn’t even that good. My mother in law had brought it over for the kids as I do not purchase such evil things and I think it was store bought… and nasty
Saturday morning I was actually not as high as I thought I would be. I was 116. Not too bad considering I was sooo bad last night. I ate a vanilla yogurt with a 1/4 cup strawberries and 1 tbsp granola on top. And we have arrived as I am writing this at my kids swim meet (2hrs away, love swim). And what did I bring for a snack? A little baggy of nuts! I will update y’all later on the rest of my day. Hope your weekend is good!
