Stress, diabetes, food, exercise and fatblogging
Ok, so it has been an interesting week here. I am not sure if it is the high stress level here, or the lack of concentration on my part but oh boy the bloodsugars have been oh so bad! I single handily went from having my average sugar in the 90’s to struggling to keep my numbers below 130.
We all know that stress will directly affect diabetes but it is like trying to curb a hungry tiger. How on earth am I suppose to stop stressing when life doesn’t stop. But that is my deal and I have to try to do better with it because it isn’t going to change anytime soon!
So with that, my blood sugar was actually 99 right before dinner!!!! That is the first time in a week that my numbers have been below 125. That is a good thing right there. because I have not been feeling too good about myself and my body and mind have not felt good either.
I have been a little less strict with my food as well, so I am sure that leads to higher numbers but with me- higher stress equals shoving my face. I am darn lucky the scale didn’t move. Ugh!!!
I have been exercising though, and thank goodness. I can not imagine what I would have felt like if I didn’t run around a few times last week. I hope your week was better then what I had to report. And remember to check out our new weight loss blog weightingline.com. Hope is funny and real and she is yielding great results. Go say hi and join her ‘fatblogging’ as well.
